A buddy is a university student. It's a person who volunteers to support and help Erasmus students. Buddies are people who don't shy away from creating new friendship with people from all over the world. If you see yourself as such a person than you are a perfect fit for a buddy in Zlín.  Let us introduce you the basics of being a buddy. It doesn't matter if you don't speak English well, or rather stay at home than be among other people. Being a buddy challanges you to improve both and much more. 

Your future tasks with the international students:

  • pick your student from the list
  • contact the incoming student
  • give them the basic information
  • help them overcome all the concerns
  • give them some advices and recommendations
  • pick them up in Zlín and help them to accommodate
  • hang out with them and have fun
  • make a lifelong friendship!

You must be thinking that there is a lot to do, but do not worry. We are one team and we are doing everything together. We are helping each other and consulting everything as a team. Do you want to organize the event or you just want to be part of it? It is totally up to you.

You can choose any team role you want.

We need your time and your spirit. Do not be afraid, we know people can be busy sometimes, we are students with part-time jobs, but you will give us only the time you really want, we will not force you to do something extra. But trust us, you will want to spend all of your time in our section!
